Unexpected end: Suns will release Chris Paul

Veteran American point guard Chris Paul has spent his career fighting not to leave without a ring, going through great teams like Blake Griffin’s Clippers, the Rockets with Harden, a brief stint in Oklahoma where he did not aspire to win the title with a team in development and this ended up leading him to the Suns to meet with Booker and Ayton.

The Suns managed to taste the honeys of being in an endgame, however, they ended up losing in front of the Bucks of Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021, thus falling Paul on his first trip to the finals. The day the reporter ESPN, Chris Haynes announced that the team he will not have the services of the veteran for the next season and will be released.

This would make Paul one of the most coveted free agents on the market, considering that several contending teams could be interested in his services. Paul averaged with the Suns 15.1 points, 9.5 assists and 1.6 robberies in the 194 disputed parties.
