A 15-year-old teenager died suddenly this Tuesday while practicing rugby at the “Córdoba Athletic Club” Sports Field.
The incident took place at 9:00 p.m. in the Fincas del Sur neighborhood, according to reports provided by the local police.
The boy’s father told the police that while his son was participating in the training, for reasons yet to be determined, he fainted and fell to the ground.
Despite the fact that the club’s medical staff immediately proceeded to carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, the death was confirmed.
At the scene, ECCO personnel performed a medical evaluation and diagnosed the cause of death as sudden death.
