Saturday July 1, from the Spanish Basque country, 176 riders will take the start of the Tour de France 2023. Divided into 22 teams of eight riders, they all hope to be at the finish, next July 23 at the Champs-Élysées. Last year, it was the Dane Jonas Vingegaard who won from the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar. The two men, who had offered us an epic duel on the Granon, will be two new present this year with the sign of ultra-favorites. Around them, their teams of Jumbo-Visma for the first and UAE for the second will look very proud.
On the French side, the best chances will be carried by the Groupama-FDJ of Gaudu, Pinot or Madouas, while AG2R hopes that its Australian leader Ben O’Connor will do as well as possible two seasons ago, where he finished 4th in the Tour. Here is, in detail, the list of the 22 and 176 riders entered in this Tour de France.
