The Indonesian men’s doubles coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi, freed Kevin Sanjaya in choosing a partner to replace Marcus Gideon.
An injury to Marcus’ leg also prevented The Minions from participating in the 2023 Indonesia Open last week.
The coaches also provided assistance by finding a partner for Kevin. However, Herry said the decision would still be in Kevin’s hands.
“So we are looking for a partner for the match. We try to pair Kevin, he will choose later. From a playing point of view, maybe they can match, but doubles are important.” said Coach Herry, Monday (27/6/2023).
“The final decision is in Kevin’s hands. I have given him a choice,” said Herry.
