Tom Brady’s understudy has died after being in an accident on a beach in Florida.

It is known that the NFL star was taken to a hospital, but they could not save him and announced his death.

This news was devastating and a great surprise for the NFL in which he played seven seasons, in different teams.

Ryan Mallett lost his life to a drowning at age 35 and the last team he played for was the Baltimore Ravens.

Tom Brady dedicated a few words to the sad news. On Instagram, along with a photograph of both of them, he mentioned: “We lost a great man. Thanks for everything Ryan. Praying for the Mallett family and all of his loved ones tonight.”

In his native Arkansas, where he coached the White Hall High School team, the athletic director commented that the university had lost a very special person, and sent his condolences: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and teammates. Ryan’s team,” he said via Twitter.

New England coach Bill Belichick also mourned his departure, saying in a statement: “My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the many people whose lives he touched.”
