In a coma since the end of May, PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico is able to express himself according to his partner Alba Silva.
There is better in the state of health of Sergio Rico. At the end of May, he had been the victim of a riding accident and had been plunged into a coma. This Monday, his wife announces that the 29-year-old doorman can again “communicateand recognize loved ones. “Sergio is progressing, he communicates”, assures Alba Silva, also relieved about the memory of her husband. “He calls us by our name, he knows perfectly well who we are, the memory is great“, she explained to the spanish press this Monday.
Sergio Rico is still in intensive care at Seville University Hospital. Alba Silva hopes that her husband will leave this service “as soon as possible” adding that “doctors need to be sure, and they haven’t decided yet. We trust them.” Asked if the former Tottenham and Sevilla player is aware of what happened to him, the young woman does not advance: “I don’t think so, but we still can’t know until he can talk. We try to calm him down while we’re together and that’s it.»
