Roger Federer Considers Return to Wimbledon Upon Request from Prince William and Kate

¿Roger Federer a Wimbledon? For now, the Swiss toyed with the possibility of being in The Cathedral this year, responding to a request from the Princes of Wales, William and Kate, to play tennis.

Federer, who retired last year, responded with a “Count on me” to a post on networks from Kensington Palace, the residence of Guillermo and Kate, in which one of the Wimbledon training courts appears, along with the mention ” Someone to play tennis?

The conversation was joined by the Wimbledon tournament, which responded with “We host.”

This year will be the first Wimbledon with Federer already out of the circuit, although the Swiss had not competed at the All England Club since 2021, when he reached the quarterfinals. In 2022, Federer did attend the club for the 100-year tribute ceremony of the center court, in which several legends of this sport were present.
