The 8th edition of the Phalsbourg badminton tournament mobilized 200 players at the Glassmann room. This number is up from 173 participants last year. The players came from the nearby region but also from Nancy, Metz, Dieuze, Strasbourg.
More than €2,000 in rewards were distributed in gift certificates. 80% of the club’s volunteers worked for the smooth running of this tournament. In terms of results, the Phalsbourgeois won 4 podiums out of 20. Aurore Merleau and Antony Brach from Phalsbourg won the mixed doubles, Chloé Marchal won the ladies’ singles, Laetitia Cottini and Olivier Dutartre won the Mixed doubles and Anaïs Schott won the won the ladies’ singles.
The crepes and waffles stand on July 13 on the Place d’Armes will be the next meeting place for the club’s volunteers.
