Ajax is auctioning a signed Beyoncé away shirt, as can be seen at the Twitter page of the Amsterdam club. On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June 2023, the singer performed in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. During her period in Amsterdam, she took the time to sign an Ajax away shirt. The Amsterdam club writes that at Beyoncé’s request, the proceeds of the auction will be donated to the AjaxFoundation.
Ajax and CSU extend cooperation up to and including 2030
Ajax announced on Friday morning that it has extended the collaboration with CSU up to and including 2030. CSU is the Official Sponsor and Official Cleaning Partner of Ajax. This will remain the minimum for the next seven seasons, Ajax.nl reports. CSU is a cleaning partner at Sportpark de Toekomst and in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The partnership with the ArenA has also been extended up to and including 2030.
Commercial director Menno Geelen responds briefly to the extended collaboration: ‘The CSU employees, who work around competitions and at our offices, are right at home at the Toekomst and in the ArenA. Our relationship goes back to 1989, we are happy to continue working together in the coming years. In CSU we have an innovative partner with an eye for their people and the best result; which also benefits our fans, players & staff and employees.’
CSU also responds to the extended collaboration. Esmée Ficheroux of the board of directors says the following, among other things: ‘Our focus on vitality and innovation remains intact, the attention for people-oriented and social projects remains undiminished. The power of Ajax has proven to be very valuable. Our employees are extremely proud to be able to work “in the house of Ajax”.’
Ajax and Flink extend cooperation up to and including 2025
Ajax and Flink have extended their existing collaboration up to and including 2025, the club announces via Ajax.nl. The delivery service will remain the Official Grocery Delivery Partner and Official Meal Delivery Partner of the Amsterdammers during that period. Commercial director Menno Geelen responds: ‘We made a good choice at the time by opting for Flink, the party with the most reliable strategy, in the fast-growing flash delivery market. Through our reach we continue to bring their story and offer to the stage.’
Martens confirms that Van Leer has stopped playing football
