Carole Coubriche is teacher at the Jean-de-la-Fontaine school in Gonesse. She loves and practices tennis, an activity she shares with her students. “They only know football,” she says.

So, at the beginning of the year, she decided to participate with her kindergarten class in the “Draw your Roland-Garros” competition initiated by the Fft, the French Tennis Federation.

The children discovered tennis in practice with their mistress, twice a week for two months, and they built a model with elements recycled like coffee capsules.

This represents a field of tenniswith stands and players.

It was an opportunity to also raise their awareness of sustainable development. A video explaining the project was produced and the model was exhibited at the Tennis club during the international women’s tournament.

They were able to play Urban tennis and they got medals and gifts. A busy day with a lot of emotions and stars in your eyes, thanks in particular to the town hall which financed the bus trip.
