The evening of the judo club of the Espérance federation began on Friday with the tournament of the little samurai; a friendly tournament bringing together several clubs in the area. The results were encouraging with an increase in participation.
The evening continued with the presentation of the belts, including a black one. It continued with the general assembly.
The club, which has 99 members in 2022-2023, has presented an excellent sporting record: among the youngest, two departmental vice-champions, a regional vice-champion and a regional champion; among the cadets, a departmental vice-champion D1 and a qualification for the French D2 championship.
Also noteworthy, podiums in different categories by team at departmental and regional championships, with the agreement of the Gallo country.
Three new members have joined the Board of Directors. Éric Lévêque was elected president of the association.
