Jonas De Roeck has had a good season with Westerlo. For next season, the club is looking for the necessary reinforcements and that could well come from De Roeck’s ex-team RSC Anderlecht.
After all, according to Het Nieuwsblad, Westerlo is interested in 18-year-old Lucas Stassin. The RSC Anderlecht striker is looking forward to a new challenge, because Brian Riemer doesn’t seem to be a big fan of him.
Stassin scored fifteen goals for RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League this season. He already came in several times for the first team, but Riemer would have accused him of running too little during a match.
Stassin’s contract runs until mid-2024, so Westerlo will have to pay a transfer fee. Stassin’s market value is currently 1.2 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
