This Friday, Stadelmann will face Belgian Lianne Tan, against whom she lost to the Europeans last year. The Saint-Galloise is chasing the first Swiss medal in the elite since Sabrina Jaquet’s bronze in 2017.
One point was missing for Switzerland to reach a second place in the quarter-finals. Tobias Künzi lost 21-23 after having two match points in his favor against the Israeli Misha Zilberman.
