After an intense week of training and competitions, the delivery of diplomas this Friday morning has meant the farewell to the campus organized by CB Daimiel.
Daimiel News.- This Friday the third Basketball Campus organized by CB Daimiel has finished. It has done so after seven intense days of sports that began on Saturday June 24 with more than 70 boys and girls. All of them have collected today the diplomas that the organization delivers together with a representation headed by the mayor, Leopoldo Sierra, and the Councilor for Sports, Román Ortega.
This is how the participation of the students has been recognized in this week of training and competitions in different types of basketball games.
This same Friday, the final phases of some championships raised in the different categories have been disputed to say goodbye to the lessons learned. “It has been a very complete campus with different activities, it has also been fun for the children. Every year there is more innovation”, declared Román Ortega.
Not everything was sport, the boys and girls have also enjoyed cooling off in the Municipal Pool Complex, they have had fun in a dance contest and have even stayed overnight in the Municipal Pavilion the night before the closing day. “We celebrated an evening of terror before dinner and then we did the dance contest. Each child brought their mat and we grouped them by age distributed throughout the field”, commented Juan Carlos, technical manager of the group of monitors.
Among applause, an edition has concluded that has seen how the number of participants has increased with 30 more registered, the number of monitors and activities compared to last year. Data that shows the good results obtained and that opens the door for basketball to continue having a high vision.
