Damar Hamlin will give cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses

The life of Damar Hamlinsafety for the Buffalo Bills, traded when he suffered a heart attack in the game on January 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals and now the player wants to help as many communities as possible.

Through its GoFundMe, Hamlin announced that he will tour to teach cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR, for its acronym in English) and deliver automated external defibrillators in different communities and will begin this Saturday in the city of Buffalo.

In addition to the cardiopulmonary resuscitation tour, Hamlin plans to create a relationship with the American Heart Association and a trip to the United States Congress to pass legislation to increase the number of defibrillators available in schools.

The Hamlin Foundation Chasing M’s Foundation, had as its initial objective to donate toys to children in the area where the University of Pittsburgh graduate lives. However, everything changed after his cardiac arrest. More than 248 thousand donors accumulated 9.13 million dollars for the cause of the player of the Bills.

The foundation was recently verified as a 501(c)(3) charity and that means all donations made after January 2 will be tax deductible.
