Excellent results for the Cus Bergamo athletes at the 2023 National University Championships in Camerino, disputed from 17 to 25 June in the university city of the Marches, in the upper valley of the Chienti and Potenza rivers. The 76th edition of the Cnu saw Orobic sportsmen excel in various disciplines. There are 11 medals won by Cus Bergamo athletes: 4 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.
The competitions of the disciplines of Judo, Wrestling, Karate, Discus throw, 100m hurdles, Javelin throw, 100m run and High jump awarded: Martina Mariani with a bronze in Judo, Andrea Chiara Padoan with a silver in Wrestling, silver also for Fabio Mazzoleni in Karate, bronze for Riccardo Bomei in Karate, gold for Camilla Petruzzi in Karate, bronze for Megan Sorti in discus throwing, gold for Erica Maccherone in the 100 m hurdles, bronze for Emanuela Furesi in the javelin throw, bronze also for Simone Bonfanti in the javelin throw, gold for Roberto Rigali in the 100 m race, gold for Nicholas Nava in the high jump.
About three thousand student athletes, over two hundred medals awarded, thirteen disciplines which awarded the titles of National University Champion accompanied by a University Criterium and seven optional disciplines. These are the numbers of the CNU edition that has just ended.
