ATP Tour: Kamil Majchrzak Receives 13-Month Ban for Doping Offences

Polish tennis pro Kamil Majchrzak (27) has been banned for 13 months for doping offences. This was announced by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA). Majchrzak had tested positive several times in the past year. Since the former world number 75. temporarily suspended since November 30th, he will be allowed to play again from December 29th this year.

Majchrzak had made a positive test public in December. “I have never knowingly ingested a banned substance,” he wrote on social media at the time, describing the result as “the greatest shock. I have begun the most difficult fight of my life – the fight to prove my innocence.”
