İSTANBUL,(DHA)- Celebrating his 40th birthday in March, Erkan Veyseloğlu added another success to his career. The experienced basketball player, who transferred from Darüşşafaka, the successful team of the Basketball Super League, to the Çağdaş Bodrum team established in Bodrum 2 years ago, played a major role in the promotion of his team from the Turkish Basketball 2nd League (TB2L) to the Turkish Basketball League. Erkan Veyseloğlu won the TBL championship this season and succeeded in being promoted to the Basketball Super League. These achievements of Veyseoğlu were a first in both basketball history and his own career. Having won the Turkish Basketball Super League championship with Pınar Karşıyaka in the 2014-15 season, Erkan Veyseloğlu added TBL championship success to his career.
The experienced basketball player, who took part in 637 matches in the Basketball Super League and is among the players who played the most in the league, played more than 200 matches in different levels of the national team.
