Yannick Noah, June 5, 1983: “We decided to hide in a place where no one would find us”

It was Sunday, June 5, 1983. Yannick Noah was unaware of it then, but, by winning Roland-Garros, he opened a period of scarcity of forty years without another French victory, among men, in a Grand Slam tournament. On the occasion of this anniversary, guided by his coach at the time, Patrice Hagelauer, we return in a series of five episodes to Noah’s exceptional journey that year at Porte d’Auteuil.
