Who has the best serve? Federer’s answer surprised – sports mix

Tennis legend Roger Federer invited his fans to a question and answer session on Twitter. He cheerfully gave some strange answers.

After his retirement, Roger Federer insists on checking out other sports as well. The tennis legend is a regular guest at FC Basel home games and he and his family recently attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami. As Federer now announced in a question and answer session on Twitter, a curious incident occurred.

“A man came to me and asked me, ‘May I have a photo with you, Mr. Nadal?'” reveals the 41-year-old. He then pointed out the mix-up to the fan, after which he apologized and left without a photo. Special: The TV director already made a mistake in broadcasting the race in Miami when actor James Marsden was shown with the caption “Roger Federer”.

Tennis pensioner Federer also expressed regret on Twitter about Rafael Nadal’s cancellation of the French Open due to injury. “Yes, I will miss seeing him play,” writes the Swiss, adding that Nadal’s record in Roland Garros (14 titles) is “one of the most incredible records in the history of all sports”.

Federer probably answers the question of his favorite match against his long-time rival with a wink. “Roland Garros 2008. The four games were great,” jokes the 20-time Grand Slam champion after being swept off the field by Nadal that year with 1: 6, 3: 6 and 0: 6.

Federer had a clear answer to the question of a possible TV engagement. “No plans to comment this year!” He writes clearly. However, this at least leaves the possibility of assuming an expert role at a later point in time. It was only in March that rumors circulated that Federer could comment on his favorite Wimbledon tournament on TV this year.

The father dribbled around the question of whether he would return to the tour as a tennis coach, looking at his four children. “I’m already a ‘dad coach’, which isn’t easy, but I love it every single minute,” Federer said. But it’s not him who tells the best “dad jokes”, it’s Andy Murray. “He was born to tell jokes like that and then not laugh about it himself,” said the Maestro.

The Basel player also shows his humor when asked about the strongest server he has faced in his career. In addition to the expected answers, such as the service specialists Andy Roddick or John Isner, the “Maestro” also names the only 1.70 meter tall Diego Schwartzmann and “Vavrinec”, as his wife Mirka was called by her maiden name.

It is also Mirka and his children who prevented him from dying his hair blonde again, as he did at the beginning of his career. “The family would probably veto it,” said Federer, who emphasized how great he felt after his resignation. Even though he sleeps less today than he did as an active player and “in a crazy way, I miss pretty much everything about the hectic times as a tennis player and the training strains of the past”.
