Trastevere returned to success immediately, redeeming the defeat in Tolentino and arithmetically conquering third place, with a day to spare, clearing the field for Avezzano 2-1. Cioci had to do without Semprini between the posts and launched debutant Imbastaro from the first minute, the formation also changed, a 3-5-2 with Laurenzi and Bertoldi as fifth and the Alonzi-Tortolano pair forward. Avezzano, looking for points to secure salvation, starts aggressively and after a few minutes Imbastaro makes his first intervention by blocking Dos Santos outgoing. Trastevere progressively takes control of the game and unlocks the match in the 29th minute with Tortolano who, served by Alonzi, kicks from outside the area with first intention and scores. The equal doesn’t last long because in the 64th minute Massimo finds a touch from outside (his back to goal) directly on the development of a corner, creating the overtaking goal. Avezzano no longer has the strength to react and the best opportunities still happen to Trastevere, again with Crescenzo, who kicks wide after an action on the right and finally with Alonzi who, almost ninetieth, launches a counterattack on the pitch open but gets hypnotized by Coco at the time of the shot. In the next round, the amaranths will close the regular season against Porto d’Ascoli, then the playoffs with the already certain semi-final against Alma Juventus Fano.
