Top performances at the Judoclub Kawaishi – Bad Sckingen

Judo is a popular sport in Bad Sckingen. The influx of beginners to the Kawaishi judo club is high. Some members achieve great success. The coaches now want a freeze on admission.

Top performances at the Kawaishi judo club in Bad Sckingen: Belana Bittl became runner-up in the U15 class at the Southern German Championships in Backnang and took third place in the U18 class in Pforzheim at the beginning of February. This put the judo club back in the top third of the club rankings in southern Germany, as was made clear at the club’s annual general meeting.

Judo continues to be trained as a competitive sport in Bad Sckingen, the Olympic discipline has a long history in the town. This includes visiting tournaments in Switzerland. Tobi Schneider, Naomi and Belana Bittl are Baden state champions, Caroline and Vivian Lehman, Timur Sapahi and Quentin Bittl are runners-up. The open Baden-Württemberg championship brought the Bittl siblings back to their usual top position.

Cashier Ulrike Bauer made it clear that more competitors mean more entry fees. But the high costs for new training mats in the Scheffel-Gymnasium weigh heavily. Since it was very hot during the last slow-up, few people were out and about. The income was therefore very low for the judo club. Membership fees are to be increased in the coming year, the last time this happened was in 2007. That’s two euros more per month for children and young people.

Elections

If the children are successful, the judo club usually also benefits from the committed parents. Mother Claudia Bittl has been elected the new secretary and father Torsten the new cash auditor. The new chairmen have taken a practical approach to the sporting awards. For the orders of the Golden Judokas, Rittmann wanted to fall back on the long-standing company with which his grandfather Rainer had worked, “only they no longer exist”. Weber promised that it would be made up for at the summer party.

honors

Bernadette (Lisbet) Terhalle and Alexander Rnzi were honored with honorary certificates for 30 years of membership. Rut Feit, Natalie Kraus and Martina Caspers come to 25 years. Lars and Ulrike Bauer, Marco and Raul Schwestka and Angela Geis have been with us for 15 years.
