Thinaah Muralitharan and Pearly Tan of Malaysia and Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto of Japan set the new record in the women’s doubles round of 16 at the BWF Malaysia Masters. The previous record of 195 strokes dates back to last year, also in the women’s doubles, during a match at the Korea Open. The Malaysians win the point and in the end also the match.
