The four Clubs that have achieved promotion to the First Bronze, fourth category of the National Club League, after the Second National Final Phase disputed this weekend in Tenerife, are already known. And it is that the CB Zamora, the IES La Orden, the Hinojeros Granadilla and the CB San Amaro have been the great winners of said promotion phase.
The event was held in the Tenerife town of San Juan de la Rambla, with nine Clubs seeking promotion. The competition started on Saturday morning with three groups of as many teams, in which the top teams in each group qualified for the semifinals with promotion already achieved.
In the first round of matches, Zamora beat Tenzul El Rosario A 6-1, the same result that Caja Rural Oviedo C signed against Caparina Badminton, and Drop Valencia beat Valladolid (5-2).
Despite the differences reflected in the markers, the equality was maximum on the slopes. Proof of this is that in the second round, IES La Orden opened its game by defeating Valladolid 4-3, Los Hinojeros Granadila beat Caja Rural Oviedo C (6-1) and San Amaro defeated Zamora A (4-3 ).
In the third and final round on Saturday, IES La Orden C beat Drop Valencia (4-3), Los Hinojeros Granadilla defeated Caparina Candelaria (6-1) and Tenzul El Rosario A defeated San Amaro (3-4).
These results confirmed the rise of Zamora, IES La Orden C and Los Hinojeros Granadilla, who faced each other on Sunday to see who would finish as champion of the Final Phase and in them the winner was Zamora, who beat their two opponents (4- 3 to Los Hinojeros Granadilla and 1-4 to IES La Orden C). The fourth place that gave the right to ascend finally went to San Amaro by defeating Caja Rural Oviedo C and Drop Valencia 4-0.
This event has been organized by the Caparina Candelaria club and the Canarian Badminton Federation, together with the Spanish Badminton Federation, and with the collaboration of the Cabildo de Tenerife and the San Juan de la Rambla town hall.
