Ex-coach speaks out about Yaremchuk’s situation and is angry with blue-black fans

Rarely have we seen a player on the Belgian fields with so little confidence. The question remains: what should Club Brugge do with him?

Roman Yaremchuk replaced the injured Ferran Jutgla in the starting team, but was unable to show much and again missed a few chances.

He was replaced with cramps after an hour of football and whistled by his own fans. An absolute breach of trust?

Yves Vanderhaeghe still had Roman Yaremchuk under his wing and is convinced that things will turn out well.

“Yaremchuk never gives up,” said Vanderhaeghe about his ex-poulain The newspapaer. “That’s why I believe it will work out one way or another.”

The ex-coach also has something to say about Club Brugge’s supporters, who whistled at him in his own stadium.

“The fans must support him. Targeting your own players like this is not appropriate and does not help”, he is clear.
