The Telde Basketball women’s children’s team achieved the third position in the final phase of the Insular Championship the day before, in the Rita Hernández Pavilion, obtaining a pass for the Canary Islands Championship.
Together with the team from Telde, Santa Lucia Sureste competed, which would occupy fourth place, and CB Spar Gran Canaria, which would be proclaimed Champion of Gran Canaria by beating CB Gran Canaria 84-43 in the grand final.
The first three classified in this final phase got their place to be able to participate on May 4 in the next Canary Islands Championship, which is valid for the National that will be played in Marín, Pontevedra, Galicia.
The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council, Diego Ojeda, publicly congratulates the staff. The mayor is shown and satisfied with the development of the tournament and is pleased with the classification of the children from Telde.
