The end-of-year Gala of the Tomelloso Judo School rewards the effort of the whole year

There was a great atmosphere at the End of Course Gala of the Tomelloso Judo School held this Friday in the Ciudad Deportiva pavilion. An act in which the effort of the students throughout the year has been recognized. More than one hundred and sixty students have participated, with the stands of the pavilion overflowing with the public. The head of judo in Tomelloso, Yamila Gómez, has led the event.

The awarding of diplomas and belts has been one of the highlights of the gala, which has also hosted exhibitions by groups from the School and the Club. The little ones have started, developing various games and exercises on the tatami. The next group has demonstrated their coordination and dexterity in the falls and then another level has appeared in which the games and exercises have become more complicated, but as Yamila Gómez insisted “always from the game and the good atmosphere and knowing that, just like that in life, in judo, whenever I fall I have to get up again”.

The older groups have already carried out exercises related to combat, demonstrating the high level that judo currently has in Tomelloso, as has been demonstrated this year in various regional and national championships. And at the gala they have been able to see those values of respect and discipline that prevail in a sport like judo.

It was priceless to see the satisfied faces of the children when they received their belts, amid the cheers of the public. Together with Yamila, the school monitors have worked hard, making the final gala go perfectly.
