Ferrol is celebrating the return of his team to the Second Division. Malata will receive Mareona again after a season in which three sportinguistas have been key in achieving the success of the Galician team. A young man, a veteran and an Olympian with a rojiblanco past have made Racing de Ferrol finish as the leader of their group in the First RFEF, beating several of the favorites to achieve it.

The youngster is Enol Coto, who has made the most of his loan this season to Racing de Ferrol from Sporting. The right-back will return to Gijón this summer with the intention of being able to carve out a gap between Guille Rosas and Pol Valentín. The veteran is Álex López, who arrived at Sporting in the last relegation to Segunda, led by Paco Herrera. The injuries did not finish allowing him to have the expected continuity. The Olympian is Javier Manjarín, one of the great homegrown players from Mareo and a gold medalist in Barcelona 92. He is the second coach of Racing de Ferrol, trained by another acquaintance of the Asturian fans, the ex-Olympian Cristobal Parralo.
