Sebastian Ofner moved into the final of an ATP Challenger tournament on Saturday for the fourth time this season after Tenerife, Antalya and Zadar.
The 26-year-old from Styria defeated Slovakian Lukas Klein in the semifinals in Prague 7:6(4), 0:6, 6:3.
Ofner is hoping he can finally wrap up the fourth Challenger triumph of his career in the fourth final of the season. In the battle for the €9,880 winner’s check on Sunday, he will meet either the top seeded Filip Krajinovic from Serbia or Dominic Stricker from Switzerland.
A Challenger 75 has 75 points for the title, which would put it in about 116th place in the ranking. That would be Ofner’s best world ranking so far.
