De Bruyne lets Guardiola cheer: ManCity draws 1-1 in Madrid
In the semi-final first leg of the Champions League at Real Madrid, Manchester City have worked out a good starting position for a place in the final. With the German captain Ilkay Gündogan, the English champions drew 1-1 (0-1) against the Spanish titleholders on Tuesday evening, the decision will be made in the second leg on May 17th.
Vinicius Junior (36th) scored for Real with Toni Kroos and Antonio Rüdiger at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. A brilliant shot by Kevin De Bruyne (67th) brought the visitors equalizer. Inter and AC Milan will meet in the second semi-final on Wednesday (9 p.m. / DAZN) and May 16.

Real Madrid regained their self-confidence for the duel with ManCity last weekend. The “Royal” won the national cup final 2-1 against CA Osasuna. ManCity also celebrated a successful dress rehearsal before the away game in Madrid, won the Premier League 2-1 with a brace from DFB star Ilkay Gündogan against relegation candidates Leeds United and thus maintained their lead in the table.
