The man from Graz has to pack his bags after round one of the $25,000 sand court challenger in Troisdorf. The ÖTV player, who was seeded five, lost in North Rhine-Westphalia 5:7, 6:4, 4:6 against the lucky loser Karl Friberg (SWE/368).
It was only the second win at Challenger level for the 24-year-old Swede this season.
