Judo – Riesenberger with outstanding performance

Wiener Neudorf was the scene of the Judo State Championships. A total of 254 judokas from 16 clubs fought for the national championship title. Right in the middle of it were the judokas from the Sportunion Amstetten. Above all Nico Riesenberger. The young athlete secured the title in the weight class up to 55 kilograms (U15).

With Barbara Öllinger, Matthias Elser and Christian Schwandl there were three more Amstettners in the final, but they had to be content with the title of vice state champion. Lilou Gruber, Niklas Beneder and Elias Bieringer secured the bronze medal.
