On May 1st (Monday) and May 2nd (Tuesday), 2023, the above tournament was held at the Kenshin Budokan Judo Hall in Joetsu City. Our school participated in the individual competition. The results are as follows.
Individual match
57 kg class first place: Kobayashi (environmental one year)
81kg class 3rd place: Yashiro (Materials 3rd year)
The third year was the beginning of the last season of high school, the juniors had their first match as high school students, and the first official match as judoka. We welcomed four new members this year. Also, recently, I have been practicing jointly with high school students who attend a nearby high school that does not have a judo club.
We will continue to do our best for the Prefectural High School Championships on June 1st (Thursday), 2nd (Friday), and 3rd (Saturday), as well as the Technical College Tournament in July.
