Indycar: Marcus Ericsson fast approaching “Fast Friday” VeeKay pleased

Swedish Ganassi driver Marcus Ericsson has a time of 39.174 secs. or 229.607 mph. With that he surpassed his teammate Takuma Sato who last Wednesday with 39.1974 secs. was the fastest Ganassi rider.

For now, Chip Ganassi’s team is doing well. Fastest times achieved two days in a row with two drivers.

Rinus VeeKay was more than satisfied with his car.

Marcus Ericsson quickly approaching “Fast Friday” VeeKay pleased.
Ericsson was not only the fastest overall with an “aerodynamic drag” but was also the fastest car without a “tow” with a time of 224.414 mph. Marcus Ericsson: “A very good day for the Ganassi team. Yesterday we worked a lot on the cars and we were good right away. We built on that today. I think we made some changes overnight that definitely helped me in the car. With good cars, the Ganassi Team has also done a good job this year.”

Rinus VeeKay was extremely satisfied with the set-up of his car. VeeKay and Carpenter recorded the 31st and 32nd fastest times. Their teammate Conor Daly was sixth fastest. The times of most participants are no more than an indication because almost everyone is actually busy with the settings for “Fast Friday”. also the best rookie. His teammate Callum Ilott was only 32nd fastest….. 34 drivers took part in the sessions and they completed a total of 3159 laps or a distance of 12.636 km.
