With a flattening first half of 67 points, Trotamundos de Carabobo sealed their victory this Wednesday 101-89 against Broncos de Caracas in Parque Miranda.
El Expreso Azul, which secured the particular series against the Caracas team (3-0), left its record at 17-05 and tied Guaros de Lara at the top of the Western Conference. Broncos, for their part, left a 16-7 record.
The game began with intensity, giving a boost to this new but intense rivalry. Davis Dwayne led Trotamundos with five triples and Erick McCree did the same for the Broncos with a dozen points. The first set was just five (37-32) in favor of the carabobeños.
However, the Broncos could not keep up with Trotamundos in the second quarter and by the break the express team had a 67-52 advantage.

The third quarter was perhaps the most battled. But even so, the visitor managed to impose their game (22-21) to extend the difference to 16 points. The closure was processed, Broncos tried to react, but the distance was too much and time became a problem.
