Flu faces Cresspom for the Brasileiro Feminino A2 — Fluminense Football Club

The Guerreiras do Fluzão return to the field this Sunday (14/05), at 3 pm, for the duel against Cresspom. The Maria Abadia stadium, in Ceilândia-DF, will be the stage of the match, valid for the seventh round of the Brazilian Women’s A2.

Fluminense is in fifth place in Group A, with six points. The opponent of the time is the flashlight and has not scored yet. Even in the face of this scenario, Gadu, who is the team’s top scorer in the competition, promised a focused team.

“The work week was very good and, therefore, the expectations are the best. We are treating Cresspom in the same way that we treat the other teams we face. We will respect and show our football”, said the striker.

With the start of the round on Saturday, Botafogo, who won at home, was 10 points, and leads the group. With one game less, Red Bull Bragantino and América-MG are tied with seven points in second and third place, respectively. São José, Fluminense and Taubaté follow with six points. With that, a victory can put Tricolor back in the classification zone.

In this first phase, the teams were separated into two groups of 16. The best four of each advance to the next stage. After Cresspom, Guerreiras will face Red Bull Bragantino at home and São José away.

The arbitration trio of the match will be commanded by Matheus de Moraes Silva, assisted by Kleber Alves Ribeiro and Renato Gomes Tolentino. The fourth official will be Pedro Alves de Oliveira.
