Vittoria CORSA PRO: Feel just like the professionals

Vittoria presents Corsa PRO: Its new, most advanced cotton road tire, offering a level of performance and a professional pedaling feel never achieved.

Compared to the previous version, winner of two Tours, the Corsa Pro offers greater speed, grip in the wet and in corners, and resistance to punctures and comfort.

The Corsa PRO uses the new graphene-silica compound developed by Vittoria, and a new electric vulcanization process, which allows the tread to be applied to the casing without cracks.

The Corsa Pro is Vittoria’s new top-of-the-line road racing tire, the choice of high-performance cyclists who aspire to ride the same stuff as World Tour pros. Within the range of Vittoria road tires, the Corsa Pro is above the Corsa N.EXT and they are priced at €94.95 (TLR) and €119.00 (tubular).

Cotton Covers – The Choice of World Tour Riders

Vittoria’s racing tradition is deeply connected to the success of Corsa cotton tyres, which are – and have always been – the choice of countless riders in the peloton. Many mythical victories have been achieved with Vittoria cotton covers: 19 Tours de France, 19 Giros d’Italia, 10 Vueltas a España, and countless victories in Classics, World and European Championships, and in the Olympic Games.

Since October 2022, Vittoria Corsa Pro tires have been developed in collaboration -and in competition- with: Team Jumbo-Visma, Alpecin-Deceuninck, Education First-Easy Post, Team DSM, Astana-Qazaqstan, Lotto Dstny and many others. .

The tire with integrated tread

When it comes to high performance application, cotton carcass tires have qualities that surpass those of nylon. It is more elastic, flexible and light. The cotton allows the casing to adhere perfectly to each fold in the pavement, which is reflected in a continuous contact between the cover and the ground, effective grip, and constant traction.

In the case of the new Corsa PRO tube tires, Vittoria engineers have succeeded in incorporating the rubber tread into the cotton casing using the new and more sustainable electrical vulcanization. Thanks to this process, the rubber tread is completely inserted into the casing, resulting in a 100% integrated product.

Its benefits are related to an improved flexibility, which guarantees even more flexibility and a perfect adaptation to the terrain. In addition, laboratory tests have shown the significant aerodynamic advantage in fast disciplines. The Corsa PRO 320 TPI casing – the best on the market – offers the elasticity, comfort and light weight professional cyclists are used to, but now with an improved tire construction process.

The Corsa PRO has a graphene + silica compound, Vittoria’s most advanced compound technology for road racing tyres. This combines Vittoria’s renowned research applied to graphene with silica, a material that specifically improves the performance of road tires in terms of speed, durability and grip. The Corsa PRO has a high-density puncture protection strip, a lighter-weight layer placed between the tread and the casing; and a rim tape protection that improves protection and resistance.

While the Corsa PRO is the preferred tire of the professionals for most one-day and stage races, the Corsa Pro Control version is the choice when they have to face harder surfaces -such as gravel or cobblestones-, as well as the conditions more extreme weather. In fact, the Corsa PRO Control now has a scaly texture that improves cornering handling, and a thicker tread pattern that improves puncture protection and extends tread life, making it the perfect tire for the Northern Classics and the Strade Bianche.

Since the Corsa PRO and Corsa PRO Control are for the most advanced and demanding cyclists, both are only available in the version they prefer, Tubeless-Ready; which can also be easily placed and configured as a camera cover.

Last but not least, we have the Corsa PRO in its rim version, with a QR Code printed by means of a heat patch, thanks to which cyclists can access important information about the tire such as tutorials, recommendations on air pressure, cameras and accessories, as well as the nearest Vittoria dealer. The Corsa PRO is only available in its natural cotton color (Para/Tan flanks), for pros, and for ordinary humans.
