Clarisse Agbégnenou: Cyril Hanouna confronts the Judo champion in TPMP (video)

Clarisse Agbégnénou, the judo champion, was invited to the TPMP program. Cyril Hanouna wanted to challenge her on the set.

On May 10, judokate Clarisse Agbégnénou returned to the World Championships after maternity leave. She gave birth to a baby girl on June 15, 2022. Competing for the Red Star Club of Champigny-sur-Marne, she won in Doha, Qatar, her sixth title of world judo champion in the category of – 63 kg.

Thus, she made her big comeback on the world stage, an important step that will lead her to the Paris Olympics in 2024, where she will end her career. Since her return, Clarisse Agbégnénou had only participated in two competitions: first with her club at the end of 2022, then during the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv last February.

She was also in Doha with her daughter, eager to pave the way for other high-level athlete mothers. “She will always be with me,” Agbégnénou told AFP of her daughter Athéna. “I have the right to have my daughter and my companion wherever I wish”. Like her, other judokas, such as the Dutch Kim Polling, 32, or the Briton Nekoda Smythe-Davis, 30, also present in Doha, have resumed their careers after being mothers of young children.

This Wednesday, May 24, the champion was invited on the set of the program Touche pas à mon poste. On this occasion, Cyril Hanouna had planned a special activity to welcome this champion! So he organized a little game for her: the “Ni Oui, N’Ippon”. The principle was simple: Cyril Hanouna offered his columnists to participate in the famous game of “Neither yes, nor no” with a small variation. If a columnist said “yes” or “no”, he had to suffer a hold of the judo champion.

Cyril Hanouna did not want to lose in any way! Several columnists have agreed to play the game: Jean-Michel Maire, Benjamin Castaldi, Raymond Aabou, Guillaume Genton, as well as the valiant Sophie Coste! Cyril Hanouna himself wanted to participate, but for him it was simply unthinkable to lose this challenge. He did everything to stay on his feet and not flinch. Although he didn’t fall, he still got down on one knee. Viewers and columnists have seen that he was in trouble. His hubris to avoid falling greatly amused his team. Valérie Benaïm supported him by launching: “He is incredible, he is incredible”.
