In the presence of his HE Mr. TSUGAWA Takahisa, Ambassador of Japan to Benin, the President of the Beninese Federation of Baseball and Softball, Fernando Lavenir ATANNON signed on Friday, May 19 in Cotonou, a cooperation agreement with the Japanese African Foundation for Baseball Softball (J-ABS) for the development of Baseball and Softball in Benin.
This five (05) year agreement aims, in the short term, to train country coaches during Scouts Camp and, in the medium term, to provide the FBBS with equipment, to invest in infrastructure and to launch a national high school championship based on the Koshi model.
“I have confidence in the capacity of this agreement to contribute to the development of Baseball and Softball in Benin” declared President ATANNON.
