Starting at nine in the morning next Sunday, the San Roque Sports Center in the Valladolid town of Tudela de Duero will host the Castilla y León championships for under-17 and Senior categories, with a large presence from Soria and with the prospect of obtaining a large number of metals.
In the sub-17 category, there will be three women from the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club who will represent our province.
The joya From Soria, Daniela Corchón, current champion of Castilla y León in the absolute category, is the clear favorite to win in the individual category.
In addition, he will also fight for gold in the mixed double box together with Andrés Perez from Leon.
To the participation of Daniela will be added Maria Gonzalez and Naiara Easterplayers with less experience but with the illusion of completing an excellent championship.
Within the seniors, the competition will be played by the regulars of the category, by Club Badminton Soria-CS24 they will be: Manuel Acero, David Hernansanz, Santiago Martínez, Victor Ortega and José Carlos Pérez while the only representative from Burgos will be Sergio Latorre
Their proven level makes them candidates for a medal in each of their categories.
