Struth reveals…

► That he called Thomas Müller about a change!

Struth: I actually called him, yes. That’s a year ago. We have a good international network and Thomas has always been a player that people watched a lot, especially in England. I asked him if that could be an issue for him. He then told me that firstly it was not an issue and secondly that he already had a consultant. But it could also have been that it was attractive for him – but that wasn’t the case. He was what he is: authentic and honest. And I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t tried.”

► A gloomy prognosis for German professional clubs – and why Bayern will have little chance against investor clubs in the long run in the Champions League!

Struth: “I know that I’m making myself unpopular now, but if we don’t adapt to developments on the international market and at least deal with the 50+1 rule again, we’ll have to get used to the fact that even a club like Bayern Munich will no longer play in the top 8 in Europe in the long term.”

Struth also reveals legendary transfer anecdotes.

► Which manager yelled at him the most in his player agent career – and why Michael Zorc yelled into the phone because of Mario Götze ha!

► Why he once threw a plastic bottle around in the office of a Bundesliga boss!

► Which boss liked to take off his shoes and socks for appointments!
