The whole town is excited for this home game on Saturday against Mainz 05, which can ensure the first championship in eleven years.

But coach Edin Terzic (40) does not really want to talk about possible party plans and the master scenario at the press conference before the last game of the season.

The trainer lowers his head, blows once and says smugly: “Are you really serious now?”

He grins and then seems annoyed: “I said something 30 seconds ago and now we’re talking about the next subjunctive?”

BVB trainer: “Are you serious?”

The coach explains: “I don’t feel like talking about the subjunctive. It’s about where we are now and why we’re here today. That’s a game day PK before the last important game of the season against Mainz 05. I don’t care what the boys do afterwards. What’s important to me is what the guys do on the pitch in the 90 minutes.”

The coach continues: “He has not yet been on the pitch with us. Hopefully we can do that this afternoon. Then we’ll look at the units and decide whether it’s enough for the starting XI on Saturday. We definitely want Jude in the squad! We hope that the diligence will be rewarded in the last 14 days and that it will be available.”

Bellingham himself has not given up hope of playing in the shell game against Mainz either, said when asked by BILD on Tuesday: “I hope so!”
