Antananarivo, May 7, 10:00 a.m. – No World Cup for the Ankoay ladies 3×3. The Malagasy half-court basketball selection was beaten successively by the Czech Republic and Australia during the “FIBA 3×3 World cup qualifier” tournament this Saturday, in Eilat, Israel.

The Ankoay ladies could not do anything against the 16th and 56th in the world ranking of women’s 3×3 basketball at the ICE mall in Eilat. For their first match in group A, the proteges of Prisca Razananirina lost 9 to 21 against the players of the Czech Republic. It was on this same score that the Australians beat them in their second match.

After this double defeat, Madagascar finished in third place in their group and could not reach the semi-finals of this qualifying tournament for the Austrian World Cup.
