This Wednesday, via its official Twitter account, the Paris Basketball club formalized the departure of its coach, the American Will Weaver.

The ambitious Paris Basketball team no longer has a coach. Indeed, this Wednesday, via his account Twitter official, the Parisian basketball club formalized the departure of its coach, the American Will Weaver: “Thank you Coach Will Weaver. Will Weaver leaves Paris Basketball after a season at the end of which we played our first European play-offs and got our best record in the top flight. Thank you for everything and good luck in the NBA. This season, Paris Basketball finished in ninth place in the Betclic Elite season ranking. A qualification for the play-offs of the French basketball championship was however missed for only one small victory.

Weaver back in coaching an NBA franchise?

Will Weaver is none other than a former NBA franchise assistant from the Houston Rockets. Even if, this time, it is official, his departure had already been mentioned previously. And even by the American technician himself. Indeed, Weaver had then spoken about it after the very last match played by his own formation. A last match that took place on Tuesday, May 16, as part of the 34th and last day of the regular season of Betclic Elite. That evening, it was Boulogne-Levallois who then won (93-85). His goal is now to find a place in the management of an NBA franchise.
