The reigning German champions of the Judo Bundesliga, TSV Abensberg from Lower Bavaria, received the team from VFL Sindelfingen in the local Josef-Stanglmeier-Halle on the third day of the fight.

The text of the message:

Bad Aibling/Abensberg – Patrick Weisser from TUS Bad Aibling, who competed in the weight class up to 66 kg after his stay in Japan, was also there on the side of Lower Bavaria, for which he had to “cook off” a few kilos.

The heavily occupied Lower Bavarians won the first round with a clear 6:1. Patrick Weisser contributed a win in the first round. He started strong and dominant and won his duel against Mark Seiss from Sindelfingen after two minutes and ten seconds with a strong transition from standing to ground and a remarkable holding technique.

Also in the second round the Abensbergers didn’t miss a beat and in the end won clearly with 13:1, undervaluation 124:10. So they are now in second place in the table of the DJB’s first Judo Bundesliga in the southern group.

On the fourth day of the fight, the team around trainer Radu Ivan will face 1. JC Samurai Offenbach and hopefully with a full team again.
