ATP – Rome > Benoit Maylin (journalist): “My tennis is hurting. We do anything. What’s the point of starting matches at 10 p.m. in front of empty stands? Tsitsipas – Musetti at 11:30 p.m.?!”

There is a concern about the notion of “night session” on the side of Rome. The duel between Tsitsipas and Musetti started at 11:30 p.m. in a packed stadium but which would have been full at another time.

As our colleague Benoit Maylin rightly says, there is a logic in these choices that is difficult to understand. Benoit is clearly talking about a lack of respect, and he’s not wrong.

The ATP has changed the situation with the Masters1000 which is spread over twelve days but we still come to this kind of ineptitude.

During his post-match interview, the Greac was sporting with the organizers because he preferred to laugh about it than complain
