By refusing to be vaccinated, Novak Djokovic agreed to miss some very important tournaments and therefore fall behind in the race for the Grand Slams against Rafael Nadal. On the latest episode of his podcast « Advantage Connors »Jimmy Connors expressed his support for the Serb.
“I support the Djoker and here is why. I think he’s been had for the past two years. He has already proven himself, he has won 22 Grand Slams (as much as Rafael Nadal, editor’s note). He has already proven how great he is, but he has been prevented from extending his legacy. I don’t know how long he will play. He can play this second half of the year and one more year, then say ‘I’m done’. We do not know. I hope he will succeed in this reason and be even more successful”said the American legend.
