With the date of return to the slopes pending its evolution, Nadal left the door open to a possible comeback in the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga: “I am going to try to regenerate my body these months, without setting a return date, my intention is when I feel physically ready, and I suppose that I will also be mentally ready; it could be an objective to try to reach the end of the year and be able to play the Cup Davis, if I felt ready, and David Ferrer deems it appropriate. If it is not possible, the idea is to return in 2024, which will be my last year“, he claimed.
“I think I don’t deserve to finish like this, that my end is not in a press conference, otherwise; I will strive to make it on the track. Next year a stage for me will come to an end, from which we have been happy, we would never have dreamed of living, to be moved and from there another will begin, which should not be less happy. The Málaga Davis Cup finals will be played from November 21 to 26.
