Sports writing, May 28 (EFE).- The president of the Spanish Badminton Federation, Andoni Azurmendi, has been elected president of the Confederation of Mediterranean Badminton Federations (COMEBA) in a unanimous election held in Malaysia on the occasion of the Assembly of the World Federation
“It is an honor for me to have been unanimously elected as the new president of COMEBA. I want to thank the trust of all those who have voted for me and I will reciprocate with work and dedication,” Azurmendi said after the election.
In the same assembly, a new board of directors was appointed, which includes the Croatian Ratko Galjer, the Egyptian Shehab Yena and the Italian Giovanni Esposito as vice-presidents of COMEBA. Peruvian Mario Carulla will serve as treasurer.
