In Amsterdam, 154 football supporters were arrested on Saturday because they sang anti-Semitic songs in a subway. The fans have been arrested for group insult, the police reported.
The metro was on its way to the Johan Cruijff ArenA and was stopped at Strandvliet station around 7:30 pm.
According to the police, supporters were warned several times to stop.
Ajax played AZ in the Eredivisie on Saturday evening. The team from Amsterdam had to settle for a 0-0 draw for their own audience.
These are AZ supporters. Some of them are also said to have committed vandalism. No further details are known about this yet.
